Lamborghini Aventador SVJ

The last naturally aspirated V12 Lamborghini ever built.

1 of 900 — the final Aventador halo car

The one that took the Nürburgring — and the last V12 that breathed nothing but air.

In July 2018 an SVJ lapped the Nürburgring in 6:44.97 and became the fastest production car ever to do it. Lamborghini had spent a decade hearing the Aventador was too heavy, too old, too analogue. This was the answer.

ALA 2.0 active aero stalls the wing down the straights and loads it in the corners, shifting downforce side to side mid-turn. Rear-wheel steering. 759 horsepower from a 6.5-litre V12 that spins to 8,700 rpm with no turbos and no motors in the way.

There will not be another one. Every V12 that came after it is hybridised. This is the last one that simply screamed.
